Mark Rome & JD Story

Mark A. Rome

Chief Executive Officer

Mark RomeMark Rome joined DIGIOP Technologies in March 2007 as CEO, bringing over a decade of business, legal, financial and leadership experience. Under his leadership, DIGIOP has a renewed purpose and vision to offer the most reliable, usable, functional and interoperable surveillance management solution available on the market today.

Prior to joining the leadership team at DIGIOP, Mark served as Executive VP, CDO, COO, CFO of Synagro Technologies, a leading US water technologies service provider, where he helped grow the business from $10 million in sales to $350 million. Mark also previously held an executive position in the investment banking company of Sanders Morris Harris Group. And prior, as a licensed attorney, Mark practiced at Fulbright & Jaworski, LLP in the Corporate Securities and Merger and Acquisitions Departments.

Education:

Mark received his JD, MBA, PPA, and BBA, all from The University of Texas. Additionally, he holds his CPA license.



J.D. Story

President

JD StoryJ.D. Story founded DIGIOP Technologies (formerly General Solutions) with Trey Schwarz in 2000. As DIGIOP’s President, J.D. has been an integral part of the development of the cutting edge software technology upon which DIGIOP is built. Building on over a decade of entrepreneurial experience, J.D. has helped DIGIOP develop into a world leader in IP digital video and voice management.

Prior to forming DIGIOP, J.D. was founder, and CEO of JetFill, Inc. An owner of 5 U.S. patents, under J.D.’s leadership JetFill grew into a 20M Company, with over 150 employees. Turbon International acquired JetFill in 1999 at which time J.D. and Trey formed Monarch Security, the 86th largest independent security integration company. Monarch Security was sold in 2006.

Education:

A graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, J.D. holds a B.A. in Biology, as well as an M.B.A. from the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas.
