DIGIOP Series 7 Software Suite-- Hybrid, 32 channels, open, web-based, integrated and compatible.

The DIGIOP Series 7 server software is a complete software surveillance management suite. All you need to create a world-class surveillance system using the latest technology based on open standards is included. It is fully functional as a standalone system or can be part of an enterprise system with thousands of cameras integrated with other security systems all controled by a remote centralized command center. This scalability allows small as well as large enterprise installations to benefit from a cost effective tigthly integrated system architecuture.

DIGIOP G3 systems running Series 7 software maintain backward compatibility while extending and creating new features and functionality for a more capable system.

Major new capabilities include:

Series 7 hybrid capabilities- Built in IP camera protocols allow recording, management, and viewing of both analog and IP cameras side by side. Live and recorded video with perfectly synchronized audio can be viewed simultaneously.Stream on motion, PTZ, and audio are all supported equally well on analog and IP channels. Online licensing allows easy expansion by adding additional channels of IP video and audio to any DIGIOP server running Series 7 software.

32 Channel server capabilities- Series 7 software increased the 16 channel per server recording limit to 32 per server. For installations which require more than 16 cameras this can significantly reduce installation complexity and cost. An unlimited number of servers can be clustered together locally or remotely and tied together for unlimited expansion by utilizing ESP (Enterprise Surveillance Portal) which ships on all new DIGIOP G3 systems.

Series 7 maintains backward and forward compatibility-Series 7 software can be loaded on selected DIGIOP G2 systems running Series 6 software so those systems can benefit from the new capabilities or they can be left alone without upgrading to series 7 software, regardless, existing systems are totally compatible with new DIGIOP G3 systems running Series 7 software. Everything works together, past, present, and future.

Series 7 is open to 3rd party IP devices- Manage, view, and record, DIGIOP IP cameras and encoders as well as 3rd party IP devices. Adding additional IP device support is easy because only dlls have to be updated, not the entire server software.

Series 7 runs on open IT platforms- We have adopted a new approach to our computing platform by partnering with Dell and HP to build special edition co-branded computing platforms. By leveraging world class technology and service we are able to offer the most up to date computing platforms in the world backed by the best service in the world.

Series 7 software is multi-threaded and multi-core optimized - Series 7 software has been optimized to take advantage of hyper threading and multi-core processing capabilities which alleviated processing bottlenecks and greatly reduces cpu load. We have more than doubled the effective computational power in G3 multi-core systems which results in superior compression, faster record rates, faster and smoother streaming, better overall performance, and new possibilities such as integrated intelligent video analytics.

Series 7 is designed to take advantage of advanced computing platforms capabilities- Optimizing Series 7 code and using the latest in software architectures, Series 7 is able to multi-task, do more faster, and do it more reliably making the most out of the G3 advanced computing platforms. Intel dual core and core-2-duo processors, Enterprise class hard drives at 500GB and 750GB capacities with increased capacity and throughput, Intel 965 chipsets with advanced graphics, dual monitor support, faster throughput, and faster gigabit Ethernet connections all are fully utilized by Series 7 software and the result is a system which out performs anything on the market. Full frame rate and resolution are available locally and remotely anywhere in the world. Low latency advanced compression means that PTZ cameras can be controlled in real-time greatly enhancing the users experience of virtual command and control. Audio, video, and data are compressed, encrypted, and synchronized in real-time, the beneift is that bandwidth and storage are optimized, secure, and an exceptional observation experience is achieved.

Series 7 as a open "middleware" integration platform- Series 7 common API allows powerful integration with our entire portfolio of products to other 3rd party applications such as Access control, building automation, Central Station software, video analytics, and other business intelligence application. This allows those applications to utilize DIGIOP as a middleware solution to control DIGIOP and the connected IP devices such as 3rd party IP cameras and encoders from Axis, Canon, and Acti.
